Some very exciting news and because you have been such a great supporter of me in the past, I wanted you to be among the first to hear it.

When it became clear to me that my time serving as the Secretary of HUD was coming to an end, I began to ponder what would come next. As you know, I’m not one to simply rest on my laurels, so I began to think about how I could continue to serve our great nation while advancing the four principles that make this country great. Throughout my life there have been four “cornerstones” that have guided me: Faith, Liberty, Community, and Life. These cornerstones have been the foundation of my policy making and I still believe that solutions guided by these four are effective, and will point our nation toward the common good.

That’s why I’m so pleased to share with you that I have recently launched the American Cornerstone Institute (ACI). ACI’s mission is to champion conservative solutions to the real problems our nation faces. With faith, wisdom, and compassion, ACI is not afraid to challenge conventional or prevailing groupthink on key public policy questions and will push back against the lies and distortion that are often targeted toward conservative ideas. With independent research, grassroots outreach, and collaboration with state and local entities, faith-based groups, and private organizations, ACI will work to heal the divisiveness that plagues our nation’s politics.

Jason, as you know I do not like to beat around the bush– there is a very clear purpose for my email– I could use your help. In order for ACI to fulfill our mission and make a significant impact, we need partners like you that share our values and are willing to stand beside us and support our shared principles of faith, liberty, community and life. Will you join us today with your support?

Now is the time to stand firmly in support of America’s founding principles and pursue common sense solutions that challenge conventional groupthink. But we can only do it if we work together. Please stand with us today and together we can put America back on track.
