John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum | JFK Foundation 5 hours, 48 minutes ago Don’t miss tonight’s livestream of the Earthshot Innovation Challenge: Northeast U.S. Edition Award Ceremony. Join us online beginning at 6:30pm ET as we celebrate this year’s finalists – three game-changing environmental innovations – and announce the grand prize of $100,000!
The evening will feature a dynamic conversation with Patagonia CEO Ryan Gellert and former White House National Climate Advisor and U.S. EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy, exploring the urgent climate challenges we face, and the bold leadership required in business and policy to meet them. Just as partnership between the public and private sectors was crucial to realizing President Kennedy’s Moonshot, their dialogue will examine how that same collaborative energy is essential to tackling today’s greatest challenge: climate change. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker, David Abel, will moderate the discussion.

Founded by Prince William in 2020 and inspired by the Moonshot, The Earthshot Prize is an ambitious international environmental award which aims to discover and help scale the world’s most innovative climate and environmental solutions. In 2022, the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation was proud to partner with the Prize to bring its Awards Ceremony to Boston and highlight the city’s global standing as a pioneer in innovation. Launched in 2024, the Earthshot Innovation Challenge: Northeast U.S. Edition harnesses the energy from the Boston ceremony to catalyze U.S.-based, game-changing solutions to repair the planet.
The three Earthshot Innovation Challenge finalists will receive grant funding from the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, The ‘Quin Impact Fund, and the Earthshot Legacy Partners, chaired by inaugural supporters Sandy and Paul Edgerley and also supported by leadership contributions from Giving | Grousbeck Fazzalari and Karen and Rob Hale.
We hope you will join us as we come together to cheer on the innovators driving bold climate solutions!
