What “original” means here
Original does not mean we invent facts. It means our staff and community frame, explain, and curate material with clear context. When we quote a government release, we identify the source. When we analyze a court filing or public safety announcement, we add explanation a general reader can use. When members contribute activity or group discussion, that material is labeled as community participation—not as an unsigned wire rewrite.

- About & standards — our mission, sourcing approach, corrections path, and community rules.
- Civic education — plain-language discussion of rights, processes, and how systems work when people seek accountability.
- Community tools — activity, groups, and forums for conversation. Those tools are social features; they are not a substitute for our editorial pages.
Media players and third-party video
We operate media experiences (including WTV players) so members can watch programming. Those players often embed or reference third-party video.
